She marveled at the combination of brilliance and idiocy she was reading ion Benoit’s report.

Question - Why isn't earth taking out the empire's Forge works? They know where many of them are. That could slow down production at the very least. Also is not civilian. Should have already been being used against the empire. Earth and their allies have been attacked so that should not be a factor
it seems, they’re running on a beeline for Earth,” Tyke said
As an old Combat Engineer there is nothing like the satisfaction of seeing the enemy making a tactical blunder. An enemy force moving in hast along a predictable course, at known speed is just asking to be ambushed. Even if the good guys can’t inflict a decisive defeat or pin the force, they can seriously hurt an enemy with a deliberate, or even, hastily placed minefield(s). The enemy has two likely options: turn and face: stop and engage (resulting in a delay) or fight through - let the lead elements “clear” the trap (really hard on moral especially if there is more than one minefield. Another option is to avoid the threat by varying course/route and speed while employing scouts/sacrificial lead elements by adjusting course/speed (time loss/delay).
Yeah, I we all know how that ends.
Is this the punctuation you wanted?
What in the name of all that’s Holy is that annoying prick up to?,

There were little things worse for morale than hearing the person in charge having a breakdown just as things were getting tough, after all.
Love the way this story is develping! Can wait for the whole thing, and of course the next, etc.
It's coming together and as Wellington said it will be a near run thing. Great as always Evan Curie draws his characters brilliantly.
Fantastic story.

Request - please, if possible, use the phrase "it's what we do." Weston's comment to the Priminae which was a motto of sorts.
You haven't mentioned Odysseus & Boudicca firing at the Empire since the 1st shots. I'm guessing they are but would like to know for sure.
Thanks, really enjoy your very well developed stories.
Long waiting on chapter 33😪
I'm so pleased that you've brought doctor Palin back into the mix. I'm hoping for a really interesting hail Mary from him
I love this book so far. One thing I do want to mention though is that about halfway through this chapter you've changed Jesan to Jehan. Sorry, but I believe you'd rather know about that than not.

Eric has 20 Bloc destroyers in his fleet but they don't have Transition drives so cannot travel with them. seems like an inconsistencey.
